Like any esteemed designer, Robert Clergerie values functionality, therefore, seeking out ways to disrupt the status quo. Amongst introducing brogues and unconventional silhouettes he popularized raffia in luxury shoe design.
In 2018 Clergerie opened its first flagship store in New York, located on 901 Madison Ave. This standalone boutique emulates the brand’s aesthetic with contrasting colors, black and white marble chess floors, and blue velvet sofas.
Clergerie, now succeeded by David Tourniarire-Beauciel, stands for creativity, innovation and nonconventional elegance — reflecting the type of woman they want to bring back into the fashion sphere today.
